Erik takes a year's worth of statements, receipts, and 1099s sitting on your machine — in PDF, Word, or spreadsheet form — and sorts them into the line items your tax forms actually ask for, shaped to the IRS or HMRC schedules you're filing. He reads each document, pulls out the amounts, categorizes them, and totals everything into a clean spreadsheet ledger you can hand off, with the source figures traceable back to the paperwork they came from. Your financial data stays in the files you give him; it isn't shipped off to a third-party tax service.

What you get from Erik is an organized, schedule-ready set of numbers — not a filed return and not tax advice. He won't submit anything, and your accountant or CPA should review the figures and sign off before they go anywhere near the tax authority.
